who am i? a difficult question to anwser. dnslnmnkfm. i am a college student. i am straight edge .. meaning i don’t do drugs or drink. i am a christian. i am liberal in my political views. i like to read. i have a girlfriend. nknjgjjngnnrjjgkjnjksrjjnsjjsjfgjjsgss. i procrastinate and have trouble focusing at times. my current major is nuclear medicine technology. i plan on working in a hospital in pittsburgh. i have a vanity problem. i have OCD. i like cats more than dogs. i love music although i play no instruments. i wish i did though. well .. i can kind of play bass. i like art.

when i just closed my eyes i really thought about nothing. i was pretty much just wondering if i was supposed to be thinking about something. then i started thinking about tomorrow because it is friday and i get to go home and see my girlfriend.

the narrative was my favorite because i like to write stories. i feel that they help my express my creativity. i think that what this really says is that i like to use my imagination.

in this class, what i learned about my sense of sight is that seeing makes me think.

i love the taste of pumpkin pie because it reminds me of fall and being with family. i hate onions just because they are nasty.

when i think about being touched i think about being embraced. nothing feels as good as being hugged by someone i care about. i couldn’t live without physical contact.

right now i hear computer keyboards and construction outside.

i don’t think i have a strongest sense. i could say touch because i have been told i give great hugs.

in this class i have surprised my self by actually writing my essays. in high school i had a huge problem with procrastination to the point that i never got anything done.

my 5 sense make me different from everyone else by how i interpret what is being sensed. how i respond to being touched. what i see when i look at someone. the music i listen to. the food i preference.

when i say “i”, i really just think “chris closson”. there is too much to me to just think of everything i am in one word.

I chose the essay style “cause and effect”. I chose this style because I have not done it yet. At least I think that is what my paper falls under. My thesis was about how different genres of music affect me. The music is the cause and my emotion is the effect. I would say a little about the style of music and then how it affects me.

Although all of our senses are important, I would have to say that hearing is one of my favorites. In addition to being an important part of life, it also can bring a lot of joy.

Hearing brings me joy in the sense that I constantly listen to music. No matter what mood I am in, music improves it almost always. If I am depressed, I listen to Morrissey. If I am happy, I listen to AFI. Music always makes me feel better.

remote control. hard. plastic. rubber buttons that can be pressed down. well, i think they buttons were rubber. actually i have no idea what buttons are made of. i felt exactly the same as the remote control to my dvd player, so automatically i can infer that is what it was.

It was soft and fluffy. I can easily tell that it was a stuffed animal. i am not really sure what is was. i think a dog or something similar. it was pleasant feeling. very soft. i don’t really know what else to say about it.

Touch. How does touch affect our minds? There are negatives and positives to touch … negative touch and positve touch . being phyically abused or feeling intense pain can case different mental states i think. maybe low self esteem or depression . i lost my train of thought. nothing. my teethe feel weird. i need to brush them. nothing there is also positve touch i think. being hugged and nurtured can make people more mentally healthy. my back also hurts. mostly my neck. i think i am off topic. nothing nothing nothing nothing …………………….. kjknhgjffng …. still nothing ….. i think i have mono …… touch …. on time i burnt my face with a curling iron ….. that hurt a lot …… hmmmm … pretty ilrelevent but i guess it is related to touch …. oh snap …. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh positive touch …. negative ….. i am so spaced out right now …. having a plethera of trouble concentrating ….. tonsils removed= pain ……one time my foot was run over by a car …. being whipped .. orgasm? ……. hmmmmm … bleh .. is 5 minutes over yet …. i like pain sometimes … annnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddd stuff. The sense of touch is kind of strange. As stated in the article, Your Sense of Touch, touch is located all over your body rather than just in one specific organ or body part (Page 1). This is the only sense that is found in all of the body.

Due to the sense being all over the body, it is often not thought about. We are constantly feeling, so we do not necessarily recognize it as much. A simple brush of someone’s shoulder as they walk past you or a prick of a needle involve touch.

Touch is a very large part of our lives. I think that is due to it being all over the body.
